Great served either warm, cold or room temperature, Orzo salads are perfect for spring and summer. Add in a hefty dose of spring veggies and protein and you have a template for wonderful dinners all summer long.

We Provide
  • 2, 5 Oz. Pork Flat Iron Steaks
  • 2 Oz. Orzo
  • 5 Oz. Green Beans
  • 1 Oz. Feta Cheese
  • ¼ Oz. Dill
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
You Provide
  • Chefs Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Sauté Pan
  • Medium Sauce Pan with lid
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and pepper

Fill small sauce pan ¾ of the way full with water and place over high heat, covered with a lid, until it starts to boil. Start this 5 minutes before you start to cook so your water is boiling when you are ready.

Preheat sauté pan over high heat with 1 teaspoon olive oil. While the pan heats up, season the pork steaks with salt and pepper. Once the oil in the pan starts to smoke, turn heat down to medium and add pork. Cook 4 minutes on both sides.

While your pork cooks, prep your veggies. Remove the stem side of the green beans and cut into ¼ inch pieces. Dice the cucumber into pieces similar in size to the green beans. Roughly chop the dill. Cut the lemon into half.

Once the pork has cooked for 4 minutes, flip and put a few dabs of butter on top. Let cook another 4 minutes. Once the water in the sauce pan is boiling, add green beans and cook for 4 minutes. Remove cooked green beans into the mixing bowl along with remaining butter. Add orzo to hot water cook for 9 minutes.

Once pork is cooked, remove onto a plate and let rest. While your pork rests, finish your side. Toss the orzo, green beans, dill, crumbled feta cheese and cucumber together and toss juice of ½ lemon and salt and pepper.

To plate, create a bed with the orzo and top with the pork.
